New Release: Young Sinners EP by Weeping Cat
Why am I so obsessed lately
Really I, I don't know
Why are you so obsessed lately
Really I, I don't know
That’s the chorus to Weeping Cat’s new track “Young Sinners”. It’s a simple message to which we can all relate. Why do I feel the way I feel? Those feelings conjured by inner desires and the need to understand where those desires originate from. Combine that with a touch of mild neurosis and you too would want to know, “Why are you so obsessed lately?”
It’s a delicate premise for an upbeat house track that feels like it should be played on the dancefloor rather than in a moment of contemplation. However, you shouldn’t be too surprised by the juxtaposition considering it all comes from the mind of Weeping Cat.
This is Massflow’ second release with the San Diego based producer and first on vinyl. His previous music shared the light hearted and forward thinking characteristics of “Young Sinners”, but with this new music his sights are firmly set on the dance floor. Complete with four additional remixes from the likes of San Francisco’s Caltrop [Nude Photo Music] and Vancouver’s Regularfantasy [Heart to Heart, Plush Management, Mood Hut] and ESB [Pacific Rhythm, Heart to Heart] this is Massflow’s most dance floor focused release yet.
The release is available in stores, online at JUNO.com, and on Bandcamp. Complete with a full color sleeve and center label by San Francisco artist RGB aka Rewina Beshue this limited edition run of vinyl are collectors items through and through. Don’t miss your chance to snag one before they run out!
